Get to know me, personally

We are a family of 4. 

Karin - my wife and best friend, who has been by my side since 2005, and both our children, Roy - the teenage son, and Carmel - the teenage daughter. And yes - we have 2 teens in the house!

Our family's journey has been a remarkable one, filled with countless memories, both joyful and challenging.

In 2016, we embarked on a new chapter in our lives, relocating to the United States. This transition brought us a new home, a new language, a new culture, and the opportunity to make new friends. Our family embraced the challenges and adventures that came with this change, adding even more depth to our remarkable journey.

Music has been a significant part of my life from a young age. I began playing the piano at the tender age of 8, setting the stage for a lifelong passion. Surprisingly, music even played a role in my first job, long before my tech career took off. Over the years, I expanded my musical repertoire and learned to play various instruments. The harmony of music opened doors to new opportunities as I composed music for lyrics written by family and friends. This unique journey led to some royalties, but alas, it didn't make me a millionaire. Nonetheless, the joy of creating and sharing music remains a cherished part of my life.

It brings me pride and joy to see this amazing hobby and art being passed on to my children, and hearing them play fills me with warmth - I did something right.

California's breathtaking landscapes have always captivated me, and I've found a unique way to immerse myself in its beauty – motorcycle riding. I have a cruiser that allows me to explore the stunning views of California at a leisurely pace, taking multi-day road trips to experience the most awe-inspiring places. Riding with the wind in my face and a clear view through the helmet is a type of meditation for me. It's my way of connecting with nature and finding inner peace as I cruise through winding roads, smelling the natural scents around me.

My love for coffee took root during my travels to Italy while working at Ness Technologies. Initially, I was a casual coffee drinker, having a couple of instant coffees a day. However, my frequent visits to Italy introduced me to the world of espresso, and I quickly fell in love with the rich flavors and the ceremonial aspect of coffee preparation. It transformed my coffee routine, and I found myself savoring more espressos a day than I should probably have. Now, coffee is not just a beverage; it's a cherished ritual. I carry my espresso with me wherever I go, whether I'm traveling, hiking, or on a road trip. The aroma and taste of coffee have become an essential part of my daily adventures.
